    Hi my family of 3 including my son who is 15 years old have a Nexus interview coming up. We are Canadian passport holders. What documents should I carry. Is the interview first in the Canadian side and then we have to cross the border for the US interview? Please guide? As in the application document it says first go to Canadian side and then US side. The centre being Fort Erie.

    Do all mentioned museums have English language support? English text next to paintings, artifacts. Also, what is the best time to visit CDMX?

    • @natashtepa
      @natashtepa 8 дней назад

      Hi there. Some museums have dubbed English descriptions, some don’t. We used google translate app - it has a camera feature that translate the text live. It was very helpful in such situations:) In terms of best time to visit, I think this city is great anytime of the year! It may get pretty hot in the summer months. December and January can be colder, so do take sweaters and long pants. And take into account that it can be colder inside as they don’t have central heating and windows are fairly thin. I can say that end of February-March was the most comfortable weather wise. It was warm enough but not too hot. And the Jacaranda trees were in bloom - very special sight🤩 When are you planning to go?

    • @maz3808
      @maz3808 7 дней назад

      @natashtepa Honestly, I'm not sure. I've been watching videos about CDMX for a while but have not decided when the best time to visit is. I'm also keen on knowing if there are other places close to CDMX worth visiting like Taxco? Also, I'm based in MENA, so it will take around 14 hours to reach CDMX😐

      It’s a fine line. You have to be in Canada at the time of application for PR and at the time of your approval for PR. The “in between” period technically allows for travel outside of Canada (if you have proper document that allow you to enter Canada), but generally it is recommended to stay in Canada while you wait for your application to be approved.

      It depends where you plan to take it. If you schedule at land border Enrolment Centre, you could have a joint interview. You can also have split interview. Once you book your first part of the interview, the other one will be automatically booked for you in the other side of the border on the same day. There’s a third option, if you choose to have your interview in a Canadian airport. You’ll have your Canadian interview scheduled in the airport enrolment centre, and then the US part will be done during your next flight to the US - it will take place in a pre-clearance location of a Canadian airport of your departure. @natashtepa 16 дней назад

      Hi there! July is going to be a hot month in Istanbul and it would sure be nice to dip into a refreshing sea:) Even though Istanbul is located on the sea, it doesn’t have beaches in the central area of the city. You would have several options and they would all require a couple of hours to get to the beach. One would be to follow our advise mentioned in this video and visit the Princes Islands. There you’ll find beach clubs, some of which will have entertainment for kids like water slides etc. Another option would be to go a bit north towards the Black Sea - the water is a bit Calder there, but I’ve heard they have nice beaches as well. Look up Bamboo Beach or Kumköy area. An additional option would be to fly to the Mediterranean shore, but I’m assuming you’re limited in time and might find this too much of a hassle. Hope you can find the option that does your needs best. Enjoy your vacation!

      Hi there, if you booked your interviews from separate accounts, then you will have them with separate officers. It shouldn’t matter much though - if they are scheduled at the same time, you’ll be close to each other but will be talking to different people. This shouldn’t affect your interview results in any way. Try to be calm and answer precisely what they ask. It’s going to be like a conversation, all based on the information you provided in your application, so they won’t be asking something you don’t know:) Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

They took our whole family together but asked if it was okay that we were interviewed together or if we wanted to be interviewed separately. They DO require both your passport AND birth certificate now; this is a recent change and you must have both (apparently before they were letting people through with just a passport but now they're saying that's changed/changing). Also, if you've had a name change, they require the name change certificate, which also isn't stated on the website. Hi there, great question! Your family can come with you to your interview, but will most likely be asked to wait outside of the interview office. Also, I do believe it depends on location, so if you are concerned, you may give them a call in advance to check. There are two steps of the interview: with Canadian and US border officers. You’ll have to do them both. What enrolment center are you planning to have your interview in?

    • @DS-hz6mt
      @DS-hz6mt 2 месяца назад

      Thank you. The Lancedowne, Thousand Islands land enrollment center. Plan to do it on my next US trip, that's why I would have my family with me. I can get through the interview and continue my journey into the states for the family trip. The interview dates are available to be booked online, so should I still call them? The Nexus card applications for my family are still in process while I am at the interview stage.

    • @natashtepa
      @natashtepa 2 месяца назад

      @@DS-hz6mt I'm sure you should be fine with letting your family wait for you outside of the enrollment center. As long as they have proper rights/document to enter US (which they should be with their Canadian passports). Good luck:)

    • @natashtepa
      @natashtepa 2 месяца назад

      Hi there. I would need to clarify that this particular program is NOT a sponsorship. If you have close relatives who are Canadian residents or citizens and you apply through this program, your relatives do it carry any financial obligations towards you while you’re in Canada, as opposed to sponsorship. In terms of your aunt, unfortunately, for this program aunts and uncles or cousins are not considered qualifying relatives. Do you have other family members in Canada?

    Hi, I think the suggestion to add "N/A" for the spouse in IMM5406 is incorrect. IMM5406 must be filled out for all the relatives irregardless of whether you apply with them or without. If you want to sponsor those people eventually, you should provide that info. If you don't apply with your spouse, you should not add them as a dependent. Same for children

      I don’t have the statistics handy, but Canadian Ukrainian diaspora is the second largest in the world with about 1.4 mln people. So I would assume there quite a number of people who have relatives in Canada. Nevertheless, that’s not the point. The program is not aimed to bring ALL Ukrainians to Canada. It is aimed at people who have family ties with Canada to have a simplified pathway to stay here. Hope this answers your question:)

    Hi Nata & Shtepa, I submitted my application a month ago and the status hasn't changed from that time. Is there any source of contacting IRCC, just to know about the application and the average length of processing it? Is there any email I can reach them out or it's better just to wait for their response first? I just don't know what to do.

    • @natashtepa
      @natashtepa 3 месяца назад

      Hi there. I understand your concern, it is very frustrating to not have a clear answer.. I would encourage you to keep waiting and check your status. If it is Submitted, it means that your application hasn’t been opened yet. One it changes to In Process this will mean that the officer started working on it and things should get moving soon. It does take several month for some applications to get going. There’s not much you can get from the IRCC - the will give you the same information as you see on your portal. At this time it’s going to be a waiting game - stay patient and check your portal from time tot time. Good luck!

    Hello! Thank you so much for information! I've got a question though: if a PR holder is going to apply his Ukrainian relatives for PR status then they all have to be present on the territory of Canada. And then they also have to be in Canada when they're granted PR. How about the period in between. Must they stay in Canada all this period or they can come-leave-come?

    • @natashtepa
      @natashtepa 3 месяца назад

      Technically, they can leave Canada in between. But they would need to have valid documents for reentry to Canada, like valid visa. And once they receive confirmation of PR, they need to come back as quickly as possible, otherwise it may be considered that they abandon their application. So be mindful of these points and keep yourself informed about the progress of the application. Hope this helps:)
